What is the Clinical Fellows Symposium?
Designed similarly to the national Clinical Fellows Symposium held each year by the Association of Teacher Educators and the National Association of Professional
Development Schools, this event provides time and space for
P-12 school and university partners to explore issues and challenges related to integrating clinical practice and improving learning outcomes.  This will be the  first Clinical Fellows Symposium held at the state level.  It will be hosted by the California Council on Teacher Education and co-sponsored by the SCPDS, NAPDS and ATE.

Partners from a P-12 school and university come to the table with an issue of practice that they are exploring and seek further guidance.  During the symposium, participants will network with one another, explore common issues of practice, share best practices, and engage in dialogue about putting clinical practice at the center of teacher education and student learning.

Who Should Apply
We invite P-12 school and university partners in all stages of their careers to participate. We especially encourage cooperating teachers, principals, teacher leaders, doctoral students, teacher educators, clinical field supervisors and partnership coordinators to apply.
